Easypeasy
AI-enabled accounting built for Norwegian sole proprietors
I own product and technical direction for a purpose-built accounting platform for Norwegian sole proprietors, from customer discovery and prioritization through architecture, UX, and release.
From exploring software to completing a task
We moved Easypeasy from an exploratory UX, where business owners had to navigate the product and work out what to do, to a task-based system. The experience starts with the work that needs attention and guides the user through it. Receipts, invoices, VAT and tax become concrete tasks with a clear next step, making it easier to get the accounting done without first learning how an accounting system is organised.
All your accounting, from iMessage
The same approach extends beyond the app: you can do all your accounting from iMessage. Send a receipt, ask a question or tell Easypeasy what you need to get done in a conversation you already know how to use. It brings the accounting workflow to the business owner, with the task and its outcome at the centre of the experience.
What I’m building
- Turned interviews with dozens of business owners into a focused product spanning free invoicing and EHF, one-click receipt bookkeeping, VAT and tax workflows, bank and inbox integrations, mileage tracking, and iMessage-based accounting.
- Built and evolved a TypeScript/Bun monorepo across web, mobile, and partner surfaces with shared accounting, AI, analytics, integration, and background-task packages; remained the primary hands-on contributor.
- Led production reliability and platform change, including object-storage migration, PDF reporting, authentication and provisioning, database migrations, automated jobs, testing, and deployment workflows.
